SUMMARY This is responsible and complex administrative work requiring the analysis, verification, coordination, processing, maintenance, and preparation of the company's financial statements and reports. It also includes monitoring compliance with the administrative policies and procedures issued by the company President and his staff, preparing corporate tax information as needed, preparing workpapers for financial audits, and other tasks as required. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Under general supervision is responsible for the following major tasks: Coordination of Engineering Accounting Activities
- Completion of monthly Sales Order Reporting Activity
- Accuracy of engineering reporting for both hours and dollars
- Provision of EDT recovery calculations
- Management of customer Tool Audits
Management of Accounts Receivable and Payable Activities - Collection of receivables on time
- Payment of invoices on time while ensuring all discounts are achieved
- Coordination of expense report review activities
- Ensure all appropriate policies are applied
Tracking of Tooling and Returnable Packaging activities - Ensure that all funds are appropriate recovered and accounted for
- Provision of Contract Administration supports
- Accurate updates to the Cost Tracker tools
- Timely input of correct pricing data into the CMS system
- Management of part hookup activities in CMS
Subject Matter Expert - Corporate Accounting - Provision of support as necessary to the plant's on setup and execution of Corporate Accounting functionality
- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Purchase Orders, Sales Order, Tool Orders
- Resolution CMS financial reporting issues
Perform all other duties as directed by the Vice President, Financial EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration plus two years experience in accounting and administrative methods or some college instruction in accounting or business administration plus five years experience in accounting and administrative methods for a medium-to-large sized corporation.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS This position typically does require up to 10% travel.
